Guardian home program
You may ask: what is a Guardian Home?
"BE A GUARDIAN not an owner.... because animals are not mere commodities, property or things. By replacing the term owner with guardian, we promote a deeper level of compassion, love, respect and responsibility towards the animals with whom we share our lives."
This is a great opportunity for a person or family to enjoy a “pick of the litter”, French Bulldog or Frenchton puppy/dog that is considered for our breeding our breeding program. These dogs are the best of the best. A great dog at a great price (usually FREE).
The puppy/dog remains the property of Prairieland Paws until the end of their breeding career and then they become the Guardian Home’s dog forever after. Typically at the age of 6 years, the dog then becomes part of the forever home. (Age does vary depending on the gender and the dog).
It does take a commitment and the willingness to be flexible for the needs of our breeding program but I believe it is well worth it to receive what is typically a “cream of the crop” puppy or dog. We do this Guardian Progran for the mental and quaility of life for our dogs. Having their own family give the dog more one on one attention and they never have to be retired to a new life when they are older.
Of course, there are requirements set forth in a contract that must be followed for obvious reasons. The value of one of these dogs can be up to $XX,XXX. Hence, the need for us at Prairieland Paws to find just the right home. We have many guardian families and are so forever grateful to each and everyone of them, for not only taking care of our Prairieland Paws family member, but loving them as much as we do.
If this is something you and or your family feels might fit with your life, please reach out for more details.
